Improve your chances of getting PTSD Disability benefits. Medical records and documentation are key.

Obviously, the folks at the Social Security Administration (SSA) do not live with you and don’t see what you are going through on a daily basis. That’s why medical records and documentation are extremely important. Ask your friends and family to keep a journal of your behavior and be sure to see your psychologist or psychiatrist regularly. Your records should contain:

  • A detailed description of a typical PTSD episode, including the frequency and duration of any panic attacks and what brought on the symptoms.
  • Descriptions of your symptoms. These could include a persistent fear of an object, activity or situation; severe panic attacks; intense apprehension, fear or terror; or recurrent obsessions, compulsions or recollections that caused distress.
  • Descriptions of how your symptoms prohibit your ability to function at home, at work, and in social situations.

Denied PTSD Disability Claim? Don’t give up.

It’s sad but it’s true: The government denies most initial applications for Social Security Disability benefits. This is especially true with mental conditions. If your PTSD Disability claim has been turned down, turn to us. We’re experienced at appealing denied Disability claims. Don’t delay, though. You only have 60 days to file an appeal after receiving your denial letter.

Contact SSDHelpNow.com today.

It doesn’t matter where you are in the Disability process, we can help. The quicker you call, the quicker you’ll get a decision on your PTSD Disability application or appeal. Call today: 855-702-9061.
