Joint pain causing severe physical and financial discomfort?

Get Disability for Gout.

Gout is sometimes referred to as the “disease of kings.”  This is because it has been incorrectly linked to the overindulgence of rich food and fine wine, once only available to royalty. In reality, it is a disease of the masses, afflicting millions of Americans each year.

Gout is on one of the most painful forms of arthritis.  It is caused by too much uric acid in the blood, which causes hard crystals to form in the joints. It can also cause kidney stones.

Gout is characterized by sudden attacks of burning pain and swelling in a joint, most often in the feet and especially in the big toe. Gout can also affect other joints in the body, including the knees, elbows, wrists and spine.

Get Disability for Gout - SSDHelpNow.com

Severe cases of gout, often called gouty arthritis, can destroy or deform joints, making it extremely painful to walk or move. This can be debilitating ― and financially devastating if it impacts your ability to work.

If you are suffering from chronic gout and have been (or are expected to be) out of work for at least a year, it’s possible you may be eligible for Social Security Disability for Gout.  It’s best to seek professional legal help.

It would be our privilege to help you, too. Financial stability and peace of mind is possible.

Getting Disability for Gout can be challenging.

Just because you suffer from gout, doesn’t mean the Social Security Administration will easily approve you for Disability benefits. It is actually quite challenging to meet their strict criteria. Because gout often flares up and goes away, it can sometimes be difficult to convince the Social Security Administration (SSA) that your condition is long-term. Still, it is not impossible. Because gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis, the SSA will likely evaluate whether you meet at least one of the following:

  • You suffer from persistent inflammation or a deformity in one of your weight-bearing joints that prohibits you from walking well enough to perform daily activities without help.
  • At least one major joint in each arm, such as your shoulder, wrists or hands, are affected by gout in such a way that you can’t perform everyday tasks.
  • At least two other organs are affected by gout, causing at least two of these symptoms: severe fatigue, persistent fever, malaise or unexplained weight loss.
  • You suffer repeated attacks with at least two of the following limiting your daily activities: fever, extreme fatigue, malaise or unexplained weigh loss.

Don’t meet this criteria? Don’t worry.

Don’t get discouraged if you don’t think your condition will meet this criteria. There are other ways to qualify for Disability for Gout. If the Social Security Administration can be convinced that your condition is so severe that it prohibits you from working any job, you could still qualify for benefits.

No matter how you approach your Disability claim, medical evidence is absolutely essential. The SSA will want a complete list of all of your doctors, hospital admissions, tests and treatments.

Sound daunting? The Disability team at McDonald Law Firm will help you through this. We will be with you every step of the way ― that includes filling out your application and gathering all the necessary medical information for you.

Let us handle the Disability process for you. Call 855-702-9061.

Denied Disability for Gout? Don’t be alarmed.

Nobody wants to receive a rejection letter, but in the SSD world, it is extremely common. Most people get denied during the initial application stage.

The good news is that it’s not over. This is a multi-step process, and the next step is to appeal. Statistics show that your chances for approval actually go up if you appeal a denied disability claim ― and engage the services of an experienced Social Security Disability lawyer. The lawyers at McDonald Law Firm regularly convince the federal government to reverse an unfavorable decision. Don’t procrastinate, though. You only have 60 days to appeal from the time you received your denial letter.
