“Why do I need help to get Disability Insurance benefits?”
The process of filing or appealing a Disability claim can be tricky, but that‘s why we’re here. Whether you’re just beginning the process or have found yourself overwhelmed in the middle of it all, we can help.
Choose McDonald Law Firm because…
It’s a lot to handle alone.
You might be dealing with catastrophic illness or injury that has completely altered your way of life. The stress of dealing with any type of injury or illness is compounded if you have to also deal with the Social Security Administration’s tangled process of filing for Disability benefits or appealing a claim, either of which could be dragged out for years. Our experienced Disability Insurance team will take care of the paperwork and procedural matters so that you can focus on taking care of yourself and your family.
The process can get complicated quickly.
Although it’s fairly simple to get in touch with the Social Security Administration to and get the forms necessary to file for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (SSD/SSDI/DIB), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or both, preparing them is anything but easy. We’ll ensure that all required documents, forms and files are prepared accurately and filed in a timely manner. We can also help if you’re struggling to to meet the burden of proof required by the Social Security Administration. And if for some reason you’ve been denied, we can help you appeal that decision as well.
We have a team of Disability insurance professionals.
At McDonald Law Firm, this is what we do. Our dedicated Disability Insurance team includes intake professionals, case managers and attorneys who have a deep understanding of the work necessary to get a claim approved by the government. In fact, our team includes former Social Security Administration (SSA) employees. We’ll lead you through the entire Social Security Disability process, explaining exactly what needs to be done to get your payments as quickly as possible and be on your way to a better life.
We don’t charge upfront.
If we don’t win your case, there are no fees at all. Our fees are set and collected by the federal government. The amount is either 25% of your past-due Social Security Disability payments, or $6,000, whichever is less. Our fees are taken directly by the Social Security Administration out of the reward. Please keep in mind that legal fees are subject to change by the Social Security Commissioner. Also know that it’s very much to your advantage to work with us from the start of your claim because we receive the same amount regardless of when you bring us on to help.
